Corporate Strategy in the Intelligent Island: the Case of Singapore Telecom

Abstract
This paper focuses on the major telecommunications policies and corporate strategies that have allowed Singapore to achieve a high degree of success in designing and implementing a modern and high-quality telecommunications infrastructure. This success has been achieved with a specific type of industry structure that is marked by a single public organization protected from market competition by government regulations.
